Located directly in the center of Damonte ranch this 8 acre park has everything you need. Situated directly next to wetland preservation area, this park is the perfect spot to have a family picnic on the weekend. With plenty of open fields, basketball courts, a playground, covered dining areas, access to fields, and walking trails, this park has something for the whole family.
South Valleys Regional Sports Complex
If you’ve played soccer or baseball in Nevada, you’ve almost certainly played here. On weekends you’ll find this park packed with this season’s youth sports teams. Easily visible, thanks to the “Big Yellow Library” that marks the lower fields, this is a great place to get out with your family and and enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass. We would recommend coming during the week during the Spring and Fall unless you want to battle the youth sports teams for space.
This massive 15 acre park, was designed to be an all in 1 weekend destination it includes 2 tennis courts, 2 volleyball courts, a baseball/soccer field, fitness trail, exercise area, playground and covered group picnic areas.
This family oriented park, has comfortable open fields, covered picnic areas, and a playground. It’s the perfect place to go run the dog after work, or to let the kids burn off some energy.
Head to Comstock Park for room to run. Large open grassy fields are perfect for pickup soccer games and is a dog-friendly area. Kids can swing on the playground, have snacks in the covered picnic area and adults can get in a workout using the exercise area. Along with the large grassy areas, Comstock Park is known for its baseball diamond.
With a nice walking path around the wetlands, Center Creek Park has a large play structure, basketball court and a covered group area as well as a grass field with plenty of room for kids to get their wiggles out.
This small park located next to Double Diamond Elementary school is all grass and relaxation. Perfect to teach your little one to play catch, or go out and run the dog. With no off-street parking, it may be easier to go on weekends and use the empty elementary school parking lot.
