Our Sponsored Events

National Championship Air Races

Thanks to having plenty of open space, Reno is home to an event that is “the last of it’s kind”, the National Championship Air Races.  Each year aviators from all over the U.S. come to Reno to show off their tricks and make an attempt at coming in first.  Each year the event aims to inspire future aviators. Donations go in part to providing an onsite learning center and drone zone for students to learn more about flying.

Barracuda Championship

As Reno’s only PGA event, the Barracuda Championship is truly one of a kind in our area.  Hosted at the Montreaux Golf & Country Club this event is quite literally in our own backyard.  With sun, great barbeque and watching tour pro’s, what more could you ask for? The Barracuda Championship is dedicated to giving back to our community with donations supporting both local schools as well as youth golf programs.

Hot August Nights

One of Reno’s most famous events, Hot August Nights brings us back to classic cars and classic rock.  As one of the largest classic car gatherings in the country, Hot August Nights is a must see event.  Bust out your leather jacket and head on down to one of the many event locations. Head Downtown, up to Virginia City, or over to the Grand Sierra Resort where there is always something going on during this multi-day event.  Schedule some time to catch a few of the bands rocking the mainstage.  Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Rick Springfield are headlining this year!

Children’s Cabinet

The Children’s Cabinet has had the same goal since 1985, keeping kids safe and families together.  This local organization supports local families in a plethora of ways from providing food and shelter, to crisis intervention, to academic support and tutoring.

Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows

The Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows works to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.  From volunteering, to donating, there are many ways to give back to this incredible program.

Run for Education

Hosted by the Education Alliance the Run for Education is an annual event where the Reno community comes together to run towards a brighter future.  The event raises funds for students, schools, and programs in Washoe County focused on physical and academic fitness.  On top of our students, parents and families joining in to support education, Damonte Ranch donates to this incredible cause.

Moms on the Run

Moms on the Run is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to local breast cancer patients undergoing treatment in the Reno community to help them pay for everyday expenses.  Run by volunteers, 98% of the money goes directly to patients in need in Northern Nevada.
